This video touches on the relationship between high search engine ranking and the dot com name you choose. It also touches on the truth that to really knock it out of the park getting leads and being found online you are nutso (dropped on your head as a baby) for not owning multiple domain names.  Funny how everybody gets that their SUV has a different purpose than their compact car.  Well website names are the same.  Some protect your business name, some get you found easily online and some sound good over the radio. One is NOT enough but if you have to go with just one choose the one that will be found for what you sell.
